Board President

Sandi Parkhurst

Sandi is a proud native Nevadan with a lifelong pull toward serving those experiencing homelessness. For as long as she can remember, she has felt called to find the most impactful way to help those experiencing struggles. The way Frontline Project focuses on creating solutions that restore dignity, stability, and opportunity is what ultimately led her to the Frontline Project. She believes KBP is one of the most effective and impactful ways to support individuals experiencing homelessness because of its unique ability to meet people where they are while empowering them to grow and make the most of second chances.

Sandi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno, and brings both professional expertise and a values-driven perspective to her role on the board. In her professional life, she works as a mortgage advisor, helping individuals and families build long-term stability through thoughtful real estate strategies.

Sandi has been actively involved with Frontline Project for several years, beginning as a hands-on volunteer before stepping into board leadership. Outside of her work and volunteer efforts, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, investing in real estate, and spending time with family and friends. She remains deeply committed to giving back locally and supporting organizations that uplift and strengthen the community in Northern Nevada.

Favorite thing about Frontline Project

"What drew me to the Frontline Project was the fearless way the organization shows up to help the homeless. Frontline doesn’t shy away from the work many others avoid, consistently engaging individuals in challenging situations, not with handouts, but with a reliable, relationship-driven approach. Our Frontline Project's “feet on the street” staff lead with both respect and accountability. Through their unwavering dedication, they proactively build trust so that when someone is ready to accept help, they know exactly who to turn to. This is how the Frontline Project is creating meaningful change for our community, and why I am so dedicated to this mission."
